Kelly McLendon has been a HIM practitioner for over 38 years and was awarded the AHIMA 2015 ‘Innovator’ Triumph award. Kelly is a founder of CompliancePro Solutions where he helped design and create a product called PrivacyPro, which manages HIPAA compliance. He has authored countless articles about HIM, received numerous other awards and has published a book about legal health records. He also has created literally hundreds of items of content related to HIPAA from full sets of policy templates, to risk analysis and educational materials.
